ISO 9001 certified
Since 1992 Astava operates an ISO 9001 approved quality system, which is certified by TüV. All activities of our company are described in procedures, working instructions and function descriptions. Also all our products have a 100% traceability top-down (end-products to raw material) and bottom-up (from raw material to end product). SIL 4 Certification
The Astava Interlocking Solutions are certified by TüV Germany in accordance with IEC 61508. After assessment by TüV of the Astava quality system, functional safety, probabilistic calculations and other safety related issues, certification was obtained. PED 97/23/EC
As per 29th of May 2002 it is stated by law that all manufacturers of Pressurised products have to comply to guideline 97/23/EC Pressure Equipment Directive. This compliance might lead to CE-marking on products, which according to the guidelines are within the scope of PED. Lloyds Register/Stoomwezen made an impact analysis on all our products resulting in the following conclusion on the products groups which fall under the PED.
